GALVA-HP: High Performance PE 1000 Plating Barrel

Automatically butt-welded barrel with seamless connections. Absolutely gap-free. Especially designed for the long-term use and the processing of large loads.

High-molecular polyethylene (PE-1000) is recognized by the galvanic industry as one of the best materials for bulk plating barrels. In particular, PE 1000 is highly wear resistant and resistant to chemicals and abrasion. This results in a long-lasting durability and high reliability of the plating barrel – especially when workpieces out of abrasive material or sharp-edged objects are processed.

With the new GALVA-HP-barrel – „HP“ standing for „High Performance“ – the Richard Tscherwitschke GmbH offers a newly designed, automatically butt-welded barrel made of PE 1000. By an innovative manufacturing process the number of welded joints has been reduced to a minimum. Optimized welding factors and a special welding procedure ensure a solid and reliable weld quality of the barrel body.

In order to avoid drag-out, the barrel construction does not foresee any connections that are plugged only. As a result, the GALVA-HP is an absolutely gap-free and tear-resistant barrel. It is also perfect to be applied in the GALVADRY^® drying system. Besides its high wear resistance and all the positive physical characteristics of the PE 1000 material, the tendency of the perforation holes to be deformed or obstructed by chemical residues is extremely limited.

Furthermore, the optimized barrel geometry provides an increased barrel volume and an enlarged opening section. This results in a higher load capacity per run and a faster loading and unloading process.
